Conwy sits in North Wales where the river meets the sea. As such, holiday parks near Conwy go big on views. It’s a scenic setting, but the views aren’t the only thing that attract visitors to this little harbourside town. It’s got a busy calendar of events – ranging from sailing and a Medieval Christmas parade to a summer pirate festival that’s popular with families.
In town, you can wander down to the marina for ice cream and fish and chips, or the smallest house in Britain. The latter measures just over 3 metres by 1.83 metres, giving real meaning to the term one up, one down. You can also stroll over to grand Conwy Castle. Plus, holiday parks in Conwy are a great choice for walkers, thanks to the gardens, mountain and dog-friendly Conwy Morfa Beach just outside of town.

This huge Medieval castle has been towering over Conwy for over 700 years. Its spiral staircases have been restored so you can walk around the battlements and climb the towers for glorious views of Snowdon in the distance.
Go for a hike up Conwy Mountain. At 783 feet, it’s a much easier and shorter climb than nearby Snowdon. But the views of mountains, lakes and the coast are still standout. Plus, there are remains of an Iron Age fort at the summit.
