The best caravan parks in Tenby, Wales
Historic walls and a lovely seaside location make Tenby one of South Wales’ most idyllic coastal towns. Holiday parks near Tenby mean you’ve got easy access to the town’s photogenic viewpoints and quirky little shops. The centre of Tenby’s a tangle of narrow streets, where bars and restaurants set up al fresco dining in the summer months.
It sits on the Pembrokeshire Coast, so you can expect pristine beaches, too. There’s the castle-backed cove by the harbour, as well as bigger stretches on the edge of town. And if you want to explore further, you can catch boats over to Caldey Island at low tide. The off-the-radar spot’s run by Cistercian monks, who open their community up to the public in summer.

This cliff-cuddled cove has the ruins of Tenby Caste for a backdrop. At low tide, it’s a great place to sunbathe or hop between rock pools. At high tide, however, it completely disappears – so make sure to time your visit right.
Step back in time and discover what life was like for a merchant in the 15th century. Check out the reconstructed rooms, original furniture and cute herb garden. The views of the sea from the top floor are great, too.
