Things to do in Woolacombe

Woolacombe Beach

Woolacombe’s beach is its pride and joy. It’s won TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards and all sorts. The three-mile-long stretch is rarely crowded, even in the summer months. And it’s a bit of a surfer’s paradise, too, thanks to the rolling waves.

Mortehoe

Step into the past in Mortehoe. This tiny village has an interesting past of wrecking and smuggling, which you can learn more about in its museum. Plus, if you head out to Morte Point, you can see Lundy Island and Wales, as well as seals.
