Top things to do in Cresswell

Cresswell Crags

Walk through an ancient gorge, dipping in and out of caves. Early humans carved art into the walls during the Ice Age and you can still see it today. Plus, there’s a museum full of interesting artefacts, ranging from early human tools to mammoth teeth.

Alnwick Castle

This castle is the second-biggest inhabited castle in the UK and remains a family home to this day. Harry Potter fans will love it, too – it starred as Hogwarts in the first two films, so you can see where Harry and friends walked to class and learned to play Quidditch.
